Terms & Conditions
1. Warranty Coverage
Rolux warrants all products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase, subject to the conditions set out in these Terms & Conditions. This warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Coverage includes:
- Manufacturing defects identified under normal use conditions
- Structural failures not caused by misuse, neglect, or accidental damage
- Material defects that arise within the warranty period
2. Registration Requirements
To activate your warranty, you must complete the online registration form within 90 days of purchase. You will be required to provide:
- Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice number)
- Product serial number and model
- Place and date of purchase
- Your contact information
Failure to register within the stipulated period may result in reduced warranty benefits. Rolux reserves the right to verify registration information against purchase records.
3. Claims Process
To submit a warranty claim, you must contact Rolux within the warranty period and provide your registration number, a description of the defect, and supporting evidence where applicable. Claims are assessed within 5–10 business days. Rolux reserves the right to inspect the product before approving any claim.
Upon approval of a valid claim, Rolux will at its sole discretion:
- Repair the defective product at no cost
- Replace the product or defective component with an equivalent
- Issue a credit note at the original purchase value
4. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, and discolouration
- Damage resulting from failure to follow product care instructions
- Unauthorised modifications or repairs
- Damage caused by incorrect installation
- Consequential or indirect damages of any kind
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect product functionality
5. Service Appointments
Service appointments are subject to technician availability in your area. Rolux will confirm your preferred date and time within 2 business days of receiving your request. A cancellation fee may apply for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice.
Our technicians will only carry out work that has been authorised. Any additional work identified during the visit will be quoted separately before proceeding.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rolux's total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product. Rolux shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the product or this warranty.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
By submitting this form, you consent to Rolux collecting, storing, and processing your personal information for the purpose of warranty administration, service delivery, and customer support. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law or necessary to fulfil your warranty or service request.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
